A beautiful short film by Jean-Baptiste Mondino features 31 upcoming actors and actresses who are celebrated in an annual ceremony “Les révélations” hosted French luxury jewelers Chaumet.

I would have posted this earlier, but it’s taken me a while to like this ad. It challenges you, like any good piece of art. I love the handheld natural grittiness of the filming. There’s also a UK version of the campaign which you can see here but I prefer the american version. Rare. I know.

I love the energy in this campaign. The 29 year-old parisian director, Romain Gavras, directs music videos for MIA and Justice and also short documentaries. They all have this gritty realism to them and his signature look and feel continues into the Adidas ads. You get the impression that it’s part doccie and part music video. Erich Stamminger, CEO Adidas brand says: ”’all adidas’ is the biggest campaign we have ever executed. Its creative concept brings together the diversity of the brand under one strong roof. From the court to the catwalk, the stadium to the street, we are giving an authentic statement with credibility only adidas has.”
