You might have noticed a few tweets about Portrait of a Nation. It’s a new personal project that I’m doing. The aim of the project is to take portraits of the widest variety of South Africans from very diverse backgrounds. It’s a long term project and I hope to eventually have hundreds if not thousands of portraits of South Africans on the site. Perhaps in a year or two I will publish a book with a selection of the work. It’s a tough decision to choose which one portrait eventually makes the site.
