Grolsch at the Design Indaba
01st March 2010, in Work (5 Comments)
Events are difficult to shoot. It’s not a controlled environment. You don’t know what to expect. The mood, the people, the lighting. It’s an art of shooting from the hip. And like any play of chance, high risk and often high reward. Unlike the social pages featuring 50 snaps of middle-aged men hugging and holding beers, I like to interpret an event. I’m trying to capture the people, the interactions, the mood, the experiences, the details. A great event is fulled with photo opportunities. There were a few nervous emails back and forth when I was first asked to shoot for Grolsch at the Design Indaba. “Are you sure you want me to shoot it in my style?” And I was relieved to hear that Grolsch love the results as much as I do.

No, I meant to ask if you took any more pics of Grolsch promotional activities at the Old Biscuit Mill after party?
