Escape to Robertson
04th January 2010, in Work (1 Comments)
It was a beautiful Saturday morning and the girlfriend and I were having breakfast in downtown Cape Town. On the way home we got stuck in Downtown traffic, which was gridlocked with tourists and the Kaapse Klopse marches. We took a quick look at each other, and we knew we needed to hatch a plan of escape. A few calls later, and we had booked a little villa in the Robertson mountains with it’s own river rockpools and pet ducks. On a small farm called Die Laaitjie, about two hours drive from Cape Town, with no cell-phone signal, we found our peace.
