I thought I’d share some photos of what’s been happening around the Studio in the first 2 months. Moving into Green Market square and into downtown Cape Town has been amazing. I don’t think the area gets enough credit. Downtown Cape Town has been beautifully kept and is slowly being rejuvenated by CTICC and the Cape Town Partnership. The streets are safe and swarming. I’ve taken some photos from behind the scenes of a few shoots, and also of the buildings in the area. Although the studio is relatively small, less than 50sqm, it’s worked out really well for shooting portraits and tests. I’m also still building my first exhibition piece in the studio, which is taking a bit more time and resources than I originally expected.
