Most people don’t know that Lagerfeld is not only a fashion designer but also a photographer. He photographs the advertising campaigns for the houses under his direction (Chanel, Fendi, and his own eponymous line) every season. This header image of Ukrainian-Canadian model Daria Werbowy was taken from his recent 2011 Pirelli Calendar shoot, also shot in his studio. I’ve put the behind the scenes video at the bottom of this post to give you an idea of the space.
