The First Episode of Sound and Light

I decided to try something new and shoot a short video piece yesterday inspired by a song by Radiohead that I really love. I was initially going to call this video ‘Experiments with Light’, or ‘The bad behavior of Light’. It’s a work in progress, shot and edited yesterday while on a day trip to Riebeek Kasteel with my ever patient girlfriend! I tried the film with a dozen different audio tracks before I came back to my original choice. I’ve also written a voice over for it talking about light. But maybe it’s better without the voice? I’m exposing a first rough draft.

Cooking track, glad you came back to the original choice. While watching the film, I had the feeling that the images were following the sound, not the other way around. (I read your blurb after watching the film)
Beautiful images, I like the textured look. I get the feeling you’d do a road movie well. I love a good road movie.
I’d say give it a shot with the voice over, it could give the film more of a purpose. At the moment it’s all feeling; you could use the feeling to convey your message.
